Here are some available resources you can lean on to support yourself during this time.

WASHINGTON STATE

​

BELLINGHAM​

  • Dialing emergency services at 911 or seeking your local hospital emergency room. In Bellingham this is PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center at 2901 Squalicum Pkwy in Bellingham.

  • Check the NAMI Whatcom website for more crisis related resources.

  • Whatcom County Crisis Triage Center (WCTC)

    • ​Located at 2026 Division St in Bellingham. To access this service, call the VOA Care Crisis Response Services ‘the Care Crisis Line” at 1-800-584-3578, 24 hours-a-day, 365 days-a-year to speak with a licensed mental health professional who will assess the situation and make appropriate referrals.

SEATTLE

  • Dialing emergency services at 911 or seeking your local hospital emergency room. In South King County, crisis counselors in 911 call centers support people who call related to a mental health or drug or alcohol use crisis.

  • Call the Regional Crisis Line at 206-461-3222, trained volunteers and mental health professionals from Crisis Connections help people on the phone, connect people to services or can send mobile crisis teams to respond in-person.

  • Visit a Crisis Care Center, a place to go 24-hours a day/7-days a week to get help for a wide range of crises related to mental health or drug and alcohol use issues. King County will open five crisis care centers across the county for anyone to walk-in anytime for help.

TACOMA

  • Dialing emergency services at 911 or seeking your local hospital emergency room. Tacoma offers the HOPE program which supports community members during behavioral health crisis scenarios, and the first responders, courts, jails, community providers, and hospitals supporting those same community members

  • Call the Pierce County Crisis Line available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 1-800-576-7764
